# TransactionDescription

When using the [**Interface.parseTransaction**](/sdk/content/classes/Interface#parsetransaction) to automatically match a
transaction data to its function for parsing, a **TransactionDescription** is returned.

## Properties

| Property    | Modifier   | Type                                                        | Description                                                       |
| :---------- | :--------- | :---------------------------------------------------------- | :---------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `args`      | `readonly` | [`Result`](/sdk/content/classes/Result)                     | The arguments passed to the Function from the transaction `data`. |
| `fragment`  | `readonly` | [`FunctionFragment`](/sdk/content/classes/FunctionFragment) | The matching fragment from the transaction `data`.                |
| `name`      | `readonly` | `string`                                                    | The name of the Function from the transaction `data`.             |
| `selector`  | `readonly` | `string`                                                    | The selector for the Function from the transaction `data`.        |
| `signature` | `readonly` | `string`                                                    | The full Function signature from the transaction `data`.          |
| `value`     | `readonly` | `bigint`                                                    | The `value` (in wei) from the transaction.                        |
