# ContractEvent

A Contract event on a Contract.

## Type parameters

Create a deferred topic filter for the event.

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type                      | Description                              |

| ...`args` | `ContractEventArgs`\<`A`> | The arguments to create the filter with. |

The deferred topic filter.

Returns the fragment constrained by `args`. This can be used to resolve ambiguous event names.
